| 1. This agreement regarding
piece rates for plucking will come into force with effect form 29th June,
1967 in all Tea Estates under the membership of A.B.I.T.A., T.A.I. (AB) and
B.C. P. (AB) 2. It is agreed the new
rate for the plucking will be nine paise per Kilogram of leaf plucking for
all male, female and child workers. In addition workers shall be paid a
daily allowances as under:-

3.The fair wage on time basis will be guaranteed to all pluckers
irrespective of the quantity of leaf plucked provided they work for a full
day. 4. A plucker who works for
half a day only will receive payment at 9 paise per Kilogram for the amount
of leaf plucked plus half the daily allowance as per clause 2 above.
5. The Variable Dearness Allowance
payable as per Clause 3,4 and 5 of the Wage Board Agreement will continue to
be paid as applicable in addition to the earning under clause 2 above.
6. The existing rates of plucking
commission payable to Sirdars as applicable on individual estates shall not
be affected by this Agreement.
7. The earnings of half kilogram of
plucked leaf will be taken at 5 paise but where the amount of leaf is less
than half kilogram the same will not be taken into account.
8 This agreement shall remain in force until further notice
and may be revised only by mutual agreement
between the A.C.M.S, and the Employer Associations.
