On
26th December 1973, at Branch headquarters the following clarification of
the Firewood agreement dated 21st May 1965 were agreed between the
representative of Assam Chah Sangha, represented by Sri C.G. Karmakar, M.L.A. General Secretary, A.C.M.S.,
Sri K.K. Nath> Secretary, A.C.M.S. & Sri D. Murmoo, M.L.A. Treasurer,
A.C.M.S. and the Assam Branch I.T.A., represented by Mr. J.P.F. Frust, J.N.
Clayton and Mr. K.M. Hutchison.
SECURITY OF ALLOCATED AVAILABLE FIREWOOD.
1. The security of available firewood
allocated to workers after making a sample stack will be managements
responsibility for a period of seven days form the date of allocation in
order to ensure that the allocated firewood is available to the workers
within the seven day period and is not removes by unauthorised at one time,
the above period may be mutually extended.
MEDIUM
PRUNINGS (Reference paragraph I of the above mentioned Agreement.)
2. The definition of medium pruning for this
purpose is that kind of rune dine at the recorded medium prune task in
accordance with local task Agreements, with the twigs constituting the
current years growth removed.
3. When medium pruning are offered s
firewood only 2/3rds of the quantity offered will be offset against the
monthly ration of 16th Cft.
DISTANCE (With reference to paragraph 7 of
the above mentioned agreement.)
4. Regarding the carriage of allocated
firewood, this will be carried by workers form any distance not exceeding
11/2 miles form his /her residence.
General
5. This Agreement will take effect
immediately.
