Agreement Regarding Wages Of The Daily Rated Workers

SHORT RECITAL:

 In pursuance of a request  foem the Unions for a re-consideration of the wages of the daily rated workers, the parties met at Dibrugarh on 7.11.78, 16.11. 78 and finally on 20.11.78 and arrived at a settlement within the framework of agreement signed between the parties at Dibrugarh ion 10.2.77

TERMS OF SETLEMENT:

1. In addition to the increase of 50 paise per day and 25 paise per day for adults and children respectively to be effective form 1st Feb. 79, it is agreed  that the daily rated workers of the Assam Valley and Cachar will  receive the following increase in their wages with effect form 1.1.79.

34 paise                                             17 paise

2. The above increases will be reflected in plucking wages.

3. It is agreed that the other terms and conditions of the settlement dated 10.2. 77, pertaining to the daily rated workers, including its tenure upto 31st January,1980, will remain unaltered an that the Unions will not raise any dispute in respect of wages for the daily rated workers during in the Assam Valley and Cachar during the period covered by this settlement.
