It Is agreed that the following wage scales shall be introduced in implementation of the agreement signed at Gauhati on 12th March, 1974. 

For Estate of 300 acres and above

2. Employees shall be fitted into the new scale of pay form 1st January, 1974 by adding 17.5% to the pay as on 31st December, 1973. He/ She shall then be fitted at that point (or the next higher point if not identical) in his /her appropriate new basic scales.
