Tanti (10) Mr. N.Gathowar Short recital of the case; The Union submitted a Charter of Demands and Bipartite Meetings were held on 10th and 30th August, 1079 and a settlement was arrived at on the following terms: A. FIREWOOD (1)The total quantity of firewood ration per annum per resident family will be 228 cft. With effect form the cold weather season 1979-80 (2) Medium Pruning with the twig removed of the previous pruning cycle growth, will be offered as firewood as firewood subject to the followings: (a) Any pruning dine above 26 inches form the ground level shall not be taken as medium pruning and such pruning shall not be offered as firewood. (b) Not more than one forth of the total amount of annual entitlement of firewood shall be offered as medium pruning. (c) when Medium Pruning are offered as firewood, the total cft. As such 57 + 28= 85.5 cft. of Medium pruning will be adjusted against the total firewood ti be adjusted which will be accounted for 57 cft. of firewood entitlement. (3) Allocated firewood will be carried by workers form any distance not her line. 3. FRINGE BENEFIT: Free issue of dry tea will be made to permanent workers at the rate of 600 grams per family per month provided that single workers living on their own will receive 300 grams per month. Such issue of dry tea which should be for public scale, may be made monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly according to the convenience of the Management. The Terms of this Agreement shall not affected any existing arrangement which is currently in practise between individual Managements and workers and which is more advantageous to the workers.
